Pre-school Curriculum (Play and KG Junior)
Bless International School is an English Medium, British Curriculum School, and as such our Pre-School curriculum has been developed in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
EYFS provides a rigorous approach towards learning that focuses on the individual needs of Bless International School students.
Our Pre-school curriculum focuses on developing children so that they are ready for full-time school. At this stage in the development we focus on three key areas:
- Personal and Emotional Development
- Communication and Language
- Physical Development
Development in these key areas is demonstrated through:
- Literacy
- Mathematics
- Understanding the World
- Expressive Arts and Design
Learning experiences are delivered through adult-led class time and child-initiated play activities. Through play the students explore and develop a sense of the world for themselves. Our curriculum helps our students learn how to control themselves and understand the need for rules.
We deliver learning for all of the areas through purposeful play and learning experiences, with a balance of adult-led and child-initiated activities. Through play, our children explore and develop learning experiences which help them make sense of the world.
