Bless International School commenced its journey at Mirer Moydan in Sylhet with the mission of creating enlightened people with humanitarian attributes.
The foreign minister of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, A K Abdul Monem MP formally officially inaugurated the formal programs of the school on Saturday, 10th August 2019.
Professor Dr. A. K. M. Hafeez who is the chairman of Bless International School presided over the official inauguration program. The mayor of Sylhet City Corporation, Ariful Haque Chowdhury, was also present as a special guest during the auspicious event.
The foreign minister emphasized that the present generation will have to take responsibility for building Sonar Bangla (Golden Bengal). If the future generation is educated properly and thoroughly, it is possible to develop the golden Bengal of Bangabandhu’s dream. The mayor, in his speech, pointed out the importance of learning and practising Bengali as a language in an English-medium educational institution. He mentioned the provision of health cards for all the students of school levels in Sylhet City.
Dr Hafeez gave insights into the plan of the management to open further levels above grade V in future. Syed Samith Swad, the managing director of the institute, expressed his hope of nourishing the moral values of the students besides academic development. During the event, Tanzimul Islam, Amitabh Nag, Maruf Sobhan, Siddiqur Rahman, Junaid Ahmed and other directors of the school took part in the discussion. The committee of the school will be especially indebted to Tarique Abdur Rob, the Head of Operations of Batighar in Sylhet.
